Lithium is a lithium refinery under attack in rural Mexico, in the shadow of the Sierra mountains. It's one of the 12 core 6v6 maps Modern Warfare 4 launched with. Lithium has six Hardpoint hills and two Search and Destroy bomb sites, A and B.

Lithium is wide from east to west, with the two teams starting at the far east and far west ends. The refinery buildings fill the middle, with a big block in the center you have to go around.
Open the map on the Tac Board to draw a play on it and send it to your squad.
Hardpoint on Lithium
Lithium has six hills. They go P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6 in a fixed order, then back to P1.
- P1: the north side of the middle, next to B
- P2: the south side, east of A
- P3: the east side
- P4: the south side, west of A
- P5: the east side, south of P3
- P6: the west side
Lithium's hills zig-zag. Almost every rotation crosses the map, north to south or east to west. P3 to P4 is the longest, from the east side down to the south-west. P6 back to P1 is the shortest. For when to leave a hill and how to set up the next one, see the MW4 Hardpoint tips.
Search sites on Lithium
A is on the south side of the middle, between P4 and P2. B is on the north side of the middle, next to P1. The teams start at opposite ends, one in the far east and one in the far west.

Quick tips for Lithium
- Most fights are mid-range, so ARs, LMGs and marksman rifles do well here.
- The garage doors have buttons. Press one to open a door, or drop it to a gap you can slide under and come out shooting.
- The camo truck on the east road is a raised spot that watches the yard toward the refinery.

Is Lithium in MW4 Ranked Play?
Not yet. Ranked Play is coming to MW4, but its date, modes and maps haven't been announced. The CDL's 2027 season starts December 4 with 5 Hardpoint, 5 Search and Destroy and 3 Hijack maps, and it hasn't named them yet. For what each mode asks of you, see MW4 multiplayer modes.
