Rooftops is fought across the snowy roof of a New York hotel. You fight around a greenhouse, HVAC platforms, a boiler room, a patio, skylights, a pigeon coop and a laundry room. It's one of the 12 core 6v6 maps Modern Warfare 4 launched with. Rooftops has six Hardpoint hills and two Search and Destroy bomb sites, A and B.

Rooftops is wide from east to west. One team starts at the west end, the other at the east end. The roof has lots of small structures to fight around, with the A and B sites at the north and south edges of the middle.
Open the map on the Tac Board to draw a play on it and send it to your squad.
Hardpoint on Rooftops
Rooftops has six hills. They go P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6 in a fixed order, then back to P1.
- P1: the middle of the map
- P2: the north-west
- P3: the east side
- P4: the south side of the middle, on the same spot as B
- P5: the north side of the middle, next to A
- P6: the south-east
P2 to P3 is the long one. It crosses nearly the whole roof, from the north-west to the east side, so plan for it. P1 to P2 is the shortest. For when to leave a hill and how to set up the next one, see the MW4 Hardpoint tips.
Search sites on Rooftops
A is on the north side of the middle, next to P5. B is on the south side of the middle, where P4 is. One team starts at the west end. The other starts at the east end, toward the south.

Quick tips for Rooftops
- The catwalk on the east side of the construction area is out of sight. Drop down to it and catch players from behind.
- The patio counter gives you a covered view over the construction area. When it gets hot, back off into the laundry or the electrical room.
- The sky is wide open, so a launcher is an easy way to take down UAVs.

Is Rooftops in MW4 Ranked Play?
