What Outplayed does
Outplayed is a free game capture app that runs on the Overwolf client, and installing it installs Overwolf 1,2. It says it supports over 5,000 games, automatically captures your best moments and biggest plays, and also records on demand 1. After a match, your clips sit on a match timeline, and you can combine them in its video editor and share them 1. Its listed features also include an in-game overlay and second-monitor support 1,2.
Outplayed is free and shows ads. A subscription, Outplayed Premium, removes the ads and unlocks premium features; neither its site nor its store listing shows a price 1,2.
What Outplayed documents for ranked CoD
Call of Duty is listed only for Warzone
Outplayed's site and its Overwolf store page name the games they feature, and Call of Duty isn't among them 1,2. Overwolf's store does list Outplayed among its apps for Call of Duty: Warzone, with the same general promise to record your best moments automatically 6. Neither page says which Call of Duty events Outplayed captures.
Overwolf's CoD feed has no kills or deaths
Overwolf's docs say its Call of Duty game event feed covers Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7, Modern Warfare III and Warzone under one game ID, and they list only match start, match end, whether you're in the lobby or in game, and which title you have selected. They list no kill or death events, and a win or loss only for Modern Warfare III 3. Overwolf's live event status shows the same: its current Call of Duty integration lists only match start, match end, mode and scene, and the last Call of Duty with kill and death events in its feed is Vanguard (2021) 9,10. RankKD picks up far more on its own: the lobby type, the map and mode, and your rank and SR before and after every match. The feed also needs the game at a 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio, at native resolution, in fullscreen or borderless 3.
Overwolf's auto-highlights list, the games where Overwolf's replay tools detect and capture highlights on their own, doesn't include Call of Duty 4. So automatic kill clips in BO7 aren't documented for Outplayed. Outplayed can still record your whole game session, from launch to close, or record on demand, and you find the play yourself 7.
A highlight is a moment, not the match
Even where a highlight fires, it's one play. In BO7 Ranked, where you finish on the scoreboard moves your SR: since Season 04 a win pays a base 20 SR plus a Scoreboard Bonus for finishing in the top 4, and in Season 06 a loss costs an extra 10 to 40 SR if you finish 5th to 8th 5,8. Launch your game and play. RankKD spots the lobby, starts recording before the match begins and files every match in your library. Leave early and the match is saved as a partial. RankKD captures your rank and SR before and after every match, and records game sound, your mic and party chat on separate tracks. Public shares only ever carry game audio.
Free records every match up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. Pro and Elite lift the cap, up to 4K at 120 frames per second. Turn on input recording and RankKD records your mouse, keyboard or controller inputs alongside the video.
Clips without hunting for them
- Clip anything (Free): mark any stretch of a match and share it with one link that plays in the browser.
- Best moments, tagged for you (Pro and Elite): kill streaks, multi-kills and clutch moments.
- Every kill and death on the timeline, so the video jumps straight to any one.
The review after the match
After every match, RankKD reviews the footage and grades it like a coach:
- Match grade, S to D, against your own recent matches, with your top 3 fixes in order.
- Every gunfight graded: fights won, first hit, time-to-kill and crosshair placement.
- Objective play: hill by hill in Hardpoint, round by round in SnD and ball by ball in Overload.
- Coach's note with receipts: every mistake links to the exact seconds of video that prove it, with your inputs on screen.
