The main Blackheart callouts in BO7 are Tube, Dubs, Long, Ring, Square, Tank, Gas, Ramp, Useless and Back Room. Blackheart is a Hardpoint map with five hills in a fixed order. P1 is in the middle, in the room around the rotating drill, called Tube. P2 is the repair bay in the south-west corner. P3 is in the north-east corner. P4 is Gas, in the north-west corner. P5 is in the south-east corner, next to the curved wall called Banana. After P5 it goes back to P1. Players call the hills by their numbers, and P4 also goes by Gas. Blackheart was never a Ranked or CDL map for SnD or Overload.
Blackheart callout map

North is the Ring side. The map is wide and short, so think of it in bands from west to east:
- West: Back Crate and Tank, the west spawns. P4, Gas, is in the north-west corner. P2 is in the south-west corner, with Solar outside it and Cred behind it. Dark is the corner between Tank and P1.
- Center: P1, the room around the rotating drill. Dubs, the double window, is on its north side, with Ring and No-Mans beyond it. Long runs along the south edge below it.
- East: Useless and Back Room, the east spawns. P3 is in the north-east corner, with Ramp behind it. P5 is in the south-east corner by Banana. Square and Crane sit between P1 and Back Room.
At the start of a Hardpoint game, one team spawns west by Back Crate and Tank, and the other east at Useless.

What is Blackheart in Black Ops 7?
Blackheart is a map built new for Black Ops 7, and one of its launch maps. It's a drilling platform at sea. The lanes funnel fights in and around the rotating drill in the middle. It's a small map, so Hardpoint here plays fast, and spawn control decides it.
Is Blackheart in BO7 Ranked Play?
Blackheart was a Ranked Hardpoint map. It was never in Ranked SnD or Overload. It was in the pool when Ranked Play launched in Season 02 on February 5, 2026. It dropped out in Season 03 and came back in Season 05 on July 23, 2026. BO7 Ranked Play has ended. Season 06 was the last season.
Blackheart in the CDL
Blackheart was one of the five Hardpoint maps in the first CDL 2026 map pool, set in November 2025. It was played in Stages I and II. The CDL dropped it for Stage III on April 13, 2026, and it isn't in the current CDL pool.
Blackheart Hardpoint hills and rotation
Hill order
| Hill | Name | Where |
|---|---|---|
| P1 | Middle | The middle of the map, in the room around the rotating drill, Tube. Closed is the north half and Open the south half |
| P2 | South-west | The south-west corner, in and around the repair bay. Players call the bay inside P2 and the outside Solar |
| P3 | North-east | The north-east corner, between No-Mans and Ramp |
| P4 | Gas | The north-west corner, around the gas canister pillar |
| P5 | South-east | The east end of Long, next to the Banana wall |
After P5 it goes back to P1.
When to rotate on Blackheart
Rotate early. On Blackheart, the team that rotates early wins. Two of the rotations cross the whole map, corner to corner: P2 to P3 and P4 to P5. Breaking a hill? Take routes while it has more than 40 seconds left. With under 20 seconds left, just hit the front. For more on rotating, see Hardpoint rotations.
In one coach's Blackheart spawn guide, it's the simplest spawn map in BO7. But the map is small, so spawn traps snowball fast. Once a team gets pushed into one corner, it's hard to break out. Read your minimap. The enemy spawns on the side where your team has nobody. Standing on the hill doesn't move the spawns, so someone has to block the back. Meet their push in the middle of the map. If you die there, you spawn near the hill and get a second shot at them.
P1: a fast bang-out
The fights on P1 are fast and close. Take an SMG.
- Keep someone back. If more of your team is past the middle of P1 than pulled back, the enemy flips. Keep one player as far back as your furthest player forward.
- Get on the hill to push their spawn back. Getting onto P1 blocks the enemy's main spawn, so they spawn further out.
- Play the Tank side. It's close to P2, so the rotation is short.
- Lock it with a funnel. Win the clearance kills, then fill every lane: outer, mid and the left. Done right, that holds P1 for the full minute.
P2: spawn them out at Useless
- Set it up three ways. One player on time, on the back side of the hill, blocks the back spawn. Put one in Mid Cut and one at Dubs. The enemy spawns all the way back at Useless.
- Flip it late. Useless is close to P3, so don't hold that setup too long. Let the spawns flip with 15 to 20 seconds left, so your team gets the P3 side.
- Wallbang the doors. An AR can shoot through the P2 doors.
P3: don't throw your life on the front
- Don't peek the front. The other team spawns right there. Swing it and you give your life away.
- Holding from the Useless side? Keep one player anchoring your back spawns and push one up to Dubs. The enemy spawns as far from P3 as it gets.
P4: play back from the steps
- Want the Back Crate side. Back Crate is the closest spawn to P4. The other team blocks it just by getting onto the hill.
- Push their spawns out. From the Back Crate side, take the front of P4 or Dubs to block their P3 spawn. Put someone on the Square side of P1 to block their P5 spawn, and they spawn further out.
- Don't sit on the head glitch facing the steps. Players coming up the steps can catch you there. Play a little further back, and you see them first.
P5: hold Top Ramp
- Top Ramp blocks two spawns. On P5, Top Ramp blocks both the Back Room spawn and the P3 spawn.
- Then cover mid and the right. The block doesn't stop them spawning across from you. Play one on the hill, one watching mid and one out by P3 watching the right side.
How RankKD helps: RankKD breaks down your Blackheart Hardpoint hill by hill, with your rotation timing and your deaths to spawn flips.
How RankKD maps your deaths on Blackheart
Every hill above has a mistake Blackheart punishes. RankKD shows you which ones you're making.
RankKD records every match on its own, so there's nothing to press. After the match, it reviews the footage and puts every kill and death on the timeline. On Blackheart, that gives you:
- A death heatmap by callout. Your deaths grouped into named areas of the map, so "I keep dying on P1" becomes a specific spot you can fix.
- Spawn-flip deaths in Hardpoint. The deaths that came right after a spawn flip, hill by hill.
- Rotation timing. Whether you left for the next hill too early or too late.
- Death discipline. Deaths while sprinting, reloading or re-peeking without info, fights you took while already hurt, and deaths right after your own kill.
- Receipts. After each match, RankKD writes a coach's note. Every mistake in it links to the exact moment in the video, with your mouse, keyboard or controller inputs on screen.
- Map stats. How you do on each map and mode, and your worst map and why, compared with your rank and the rank above.
Example (illustrative, not real data): say your heatmap flags the front of P3 as a top death spot. That's the classic P3 mistake. The other team spawns right there, and you swung it anyway. Each of those deaths links to its clip.
RankKD analyzes your match after it ends, never while you play. No overlays, no assists, no live info, no mods and no in-game presence (read the full disclosure). RankKD supports Black Ops 7 and Modern Warfare 4 when it launches, including MW4 Ranked Play from the day it goes live.
